Messi provided a beautiful assist for Julián Álvarez to score his third goal of the game. Argentina then comfortably came through the match to secure their ticket to the 2022 FIFA World Cup final.

Speaking after the match, Lionel Messi lavished praise on Lionel Scaloni, who said he leaves nothing to chance.
“I think this group is very intelligent, they know how to read the moments of each game,” Messi was quoted as saying by Ole.
“Scaloni had said it: he knows how to suffer when he has to suffer, he reads the games, when to retire and when to press. He is a very good coach who leaves nothing to chance.
“He shows you every detail and then it happens. We knew the game was going to be like this and that’s why we didn’t worry”.
Meanwhile, Argentina will face the winners of the semi-final clash between France and Morocco in the Qatar 2022 World Cup final. Lionel Messi is yet to win the FIFA World Cup title in his trophy-filled career. If Argentina wins the final in Qatar 2022, it will be Lionel Messi’s first FIFA World Cup victory.
