Lineker has one word to describe Mo Salah’s latest stunning UCL goal

Mo Salah has always had an eye for goal, but four goals in his last two Champions League games show that he certainly loves rising to the occasion, and his latest finish caught the eye of Gary Lineker.

Our Egyptian king made it to a delicate finish after a brilliant ball from Jordan Henderson and the Match of the Day host tweeted: “Lovely finish from @MoSalah gives @LFC the lead.”

It’s hard to argue against the description and our number 11 now sits just one goal shy of Steven Gerrard’s club scoring record in Europe’s premier competition.

Anyone who knows the 30-year-old will know that he will have his sights firmly set on breaking that record and will want to do so against Napoli at Anfield in early November.

However, victory against Ajax means that Jurgen Klopp will have the opportunity to rest some of his key men, as we have already booked our place in the round of 16 for this season.

Try breaking the news to our star shooter though, as we all know how much he wants to play each match and without having to worry about the World Cup, he’ll be looking forward to every minute he gets to play.
