Ligue 1 club set to sack Peter Bosz

Lyon news: Peter Bosz joined the Ligue 1 club as manager at the start of the 2021-22 season.

But the French club struggled to get going under him, finishing eighth in the league table last season. They have also made a disappointing start to the current season and are 12 points behind leaders Paris Saint-Germain in the Ligue 1 table.

Lyon are winless in their last five league games, picking up just one point in that time. The Kids’ poor performances on the field put their work under scrutiny. Bosz has also fallen out with the Kids team in recent weeks.

Captain Alexandre Lacazette has publicly criticized him after Friday’s 1-1 draw with Toulouse. While speaking to the media, he said: “I know what he wants. I can’t speak for all the players. In any case, when you watch the game tonight, I don’t think everything is clear to everyone. That’s what a shame.”
