Leicester City interested in signing Newcastle United goalkeeper

Leicester City are interested in signing Newcastle United goalkeeper Martin Dubravka.

That’s according to a recent report from The Guardian’s Ed Aarons, who claims that the Foxes have identified Dubravka as a January transfer target.

Following his exile from the Geordies starting XI, the former Slavia Prague goalkeeper was forced to probe a loan deal to rack up valuable first-team minutes.

Joining Manchester United, Dubravka was expected to become Erik Ten Hag’s cup and European number one, however, after missing out on the Europa League, the 33-year-old resigned himself to just a few games. of the Carabao Cup; accordingly, he was recalled to Newcastle late last month.

Now seemingly looking for a new challenge with his future with the Magpies heavily threatened, Dubravka could find his next home with Brendan Rodgers’ Foxes.
