Juventus could be in for more turmoil as La Liga now wants UEFA to investigate their financial dealings.
The Bianconeri saw their board of directors resign yesterday after being investigated for false accounting.
That resignation shocked his fan base, who didn’t believe things had gone this far, and could now face even more trouble.
Juve have posted financial losses in recent seasons, but they still manage to sign players for big fees, and some other Serie A clubs can’t survive on the debts they carry.
LaLiga now believes they must have breached the Financial Fair Play rule and want UEFA to investigate them.
A statement via Tuttojuve reads:
LaLiga calls for the immediate application of sporting sanctions to the club that had already filed an official complaint against Juventus in April 2022 in which it denounced violations of the financial fair play regulations that the Italian Guardia di Finanza was investigating.
Juve FC says
Now that it has become public knowledge that Juventus have problems with the Italian authorities, we expect other bodies to attack us.
We have been exposed to the public and more legal wars could come now. We must prepare to defend how we have conducted business in recent seasons.
