At times in recent years, Liverpool fans had been convinced that we could sign Kylian Mbappe, so this image of his mother posing next to our shirt would have sent the internet into a frenzy.
Thanks to an image posted by Derry Mensah, the French striker’s mother seemed delighted to be photographed with a Liverbird and it’s clear she obviously has a lot of love for Jurgen’s Reds.

We may never see the PSG man move to Anfield, but we can at least rest assured knowing that if his mum had a say, we’d have a decent chance of doing so.
For now, we have our next dream in the form of Jude Bellingham and let’s hope this move proves a bit more realistic.
