KSW 74 Results; Record Breaking Phil De Fries Retains Heavyweight Title

KSW 74 took place on Saturday night, September 10, live from Arena Ostrow in Ostrów Wielkopolski, Poland, with sold-out tickets.

Record heavyweight champion Phil De Fries (22-6) continued his incredible winning streak with a first-round submission victory over the dangerous Ricardo Prasel (13-4) in the main event. This win marks De Fries’ seventh title defense and tenth consecutive win for him.

There was controversy in the co-main event as Tom Breese (15-3) earned the submission win over Damian Janikowski (7-5). The Olympic medalist immediately refuted that he didn’t tap and, after the fight, both fighters apparently agreed to a rematch.

Elsewhere on the card, heavyweight destroyer Darko Stosic (17-5) knocked out veteran Michal Kita (21-15-1) in their rematch, Tomasz Romanowski (17-8) won his middleweight debut from KSW with another KO in the first round.

Norway’s Emil Meek (10-6) earned his first victory since 2016.
