Klopp knows what he has ‘exceptional’ LFC gem; could save Reds millions

It’s fair to say that Jurgen Klopp is not letting himself sleep over Conor Bradley’s talent after Liverpool’s comeback win over Fulham in the Carabao Cup.

The Northern Ireland star played a big part in the Reds’ resurgence, more than claiming to be named the Reds’ man of the match at Anfield.

“Exceptional, what a boy, what a fantastic character and potential. He is in the right team, everyone loves him, he respects him and wants him to succeed,” the 56-year-old told reporters (via the BBC).

The 20-year-old came painfully close to registering an assist for all his efforts that night, although he was denied after Bernd Leno produced a world-class save to deny Darwin Nunez from close range.

Come on, let’s hear it.

Klopp is owed much of the praise circulating at full-time after giving the 20-year-old right-back a start in the Carabao Cup.

It has to be said that it is an important game, with the final just around the corner, provided we can keep our nerve at Craven Cottage in two weeks’ time.

It is quite possible that the former Borussia Dortmund coach will have to trust the Academy graduate in London again.

However, we think we’ve seen enough to suggest that their faith is very well placed.

If this level of upward momentum is maintained, Bradley could well end up saving Liverpool millions of pounds when it comes to shoring up the right-back role.

We wanted to cover Trent Alexander-Arnold. It looks like we potentially have it.
