Liverpool and Jude Bellingham feel like a story that has gone on for longer than the 19 years the Borussia Dortmund midfielder has been alive, but there has been another update on the midfielder.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Florian Plettenberg said: “Jurgen Klopp has yet to speak personally with Jude Bellingham, but the likes of Julian Ward have had talks with the midfielder.
“Klopp is pushing, pushing, pushing and has made it clear that Bellingham is his number one target.”

We’ve known for a long time that this deal probably won’t happen until the summer, but it’s also becoming increasingly clear that Jurgen Klopp has made him our No. 1 target for a summer midfield rebuild.
The player and manager seem convinced, but now it’s up to our current team to make sure we finish the season strong and have the owners look on the back of their couch to fund the deal.
