Kane set to become Spurs’ all-time top goalscorer

Harry Kane can achieve an outstanding personal and club record in Tottenham Hotspur’s upcoming matches.

While Kane is likely already considered a Spurs legend for his contributions to the club, he may etch his name in the history books in the days to come.

The England captain scored twice tonight as his team saw off a four-goal thrashing against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, and the brace moved him two behind Tottenham’s all-time top scorer Jimmy Greaves on 266.

Given the 29-year-old’s prolific attacking ability, it won’t be long before he levels the record.

When can Kane break the record?

Spurs’ next game is an FA Cup clash with Portsmouth on Saturday 7th January, although Antonio Conte is unlikely to start their main striker against League One opponents, especially as their next league match is the highly anticipated north London derby, a match that is always expected to be a passionate and exciting watch.

Kane will know that the record and the chance to take top spot are looming, and he will be eager to achieve it again against his club’s main rivals.
