While the summer of 2021 was mostly disappointing for Juventus, Kaio Jorge was one of the few arrivals to please the club’s supporters.
The Bianconeri emerged victorious in the battle to sign the Brazilian wunderkind. However, he found little room at Max Allegri’s court in his inaugural campaign in Italy.
Unfortunately for the former Santos man, his season came to an abrupt end when he suffered an ACL injury during an outing for Juventus U23s in February.
The young striker hasn’t played since and his fitness prevented him from sealing a summer move.
However, he could finally return to the pitch in the coming months, prompting a temporary transfer in January.
According to ilbianconero, Cagliari remain interested in the 20-year-old’s services, and will try to sign him on loan once the winter transfer session begins.
The Sardinian club suffered a dramatic relegation on the last day at the end of the last period, but expect a quick return to Serie A.

Naturally, Kaio will find little playing time at Juventus once he returns to action in the middle of the campaign, with several players ahead of him in the pecking order. Therefore, he could use a temporary outing.
However, the Bianconeri must be sure of his full recovery before allowing him to leave the pits, as another club might treat his condition less cautiously.
