Juventus will only sell McKennie if the fee can fund a move for Milinkovic-Savic

Juventus are reportedly willing to take advantage of Weston McKennie, but it must be for a good fee.

The American is in his third season at the club and has yet to be as impressive as he would have liked.

He’s not guaranteed a starting spot in the team and he’s certainly not the most influential midfielder in their ranks.

Several clubs will sign him if he is available and Juve are keeping an open mind about his future.

However, a Tuttomercatoweb report reveals that Juve will only sell him for at least 30 million euros.

They will add €20m to that fee and buy Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio as his replacement.

If no suitor is willing to pay so much for him, the Bianconeri will keep him in Turin.

Juve FC says

McKennie hasn’t been our best midfielder, but the American can be trusted to do a job in his day.

He is also very versatile and has been asked to play various roles in midfield, making him very valuable to the team.

However, we could get a better performance from Milinkovic-Savic, which makes selling him to fund the Serb’s move a good idea.

But as the club has decided, McKennie should stay and continue to help us if no one pays a good fee.
