However, a Tuttojuve report reveals that Juventus will continue to support the idea even if their former president is no longer involved.

The Super League is needed to break UEFA’s monopoly on European football and one day it will become a dream come true.
For now, we just have to keep working hard to be successful in Serie A and other European competitions. This will show that it is worth taking seriously when we say that a new European tournament is necessary.
But the idea could take decades before it catches on, as the fans don’t see the need for a new competition at the moment, even though UEFA is probably taking too much money from the clubs.
