Juventus triggers clause to sign Locatelli permanently

Juventus have reportedly activated the permanent clause in the loan of Manuel Locatelli.

The midfielder moved to the Allianz Stadium on loan from Sassuolo last season after his excellent Euro 2020 campaign.

The blacks and the greens allowed him to move to Turin on a loan for two years, with the obligation to buy.

As Juventus expected, Locatelli has been a good signing and little by little he is becoming their most influential midfielder.

With several other clubs surrounding the Azzurri star, Locatelli is now a man Juve will not want to lose.

A report on Tuttojuve reveals that after his last appearance for the club, Juve are now obligated to buy the Euro 2020 winner and the bianconeri have happily accepted the obligation.

Juve FC says

Locatelli has been a great addition to our team since moving to Turin, so making his loan permanent is an easy decision.

The midfielder has a lot to offer us and we need to keep it for the long term as we rebuild this club and make it the best team in Italian football again.

However, if we miss out on the Champions League and a suitor comes along with a generous offer, we might consider selling him for more cash.
