Juventus star named amongst the Serie A flop of the season

Weston McKennie has been subpar for much of this season as the American struggles to fit into Max Allegri’s system at Juventus.

McKennie has been at the club since 2020, joining Schalke 04 initially on loan and has been a regular, but the midfielder does not inspire confidence.

Juve are reportedly keen to cash in on him and it’s not hard to see why, as a new report names the midfielder among the flops in Serie A this season.

Tuttomercatoweb reveals that the bianconeri man is one of the top 20 flops in the Italian top flight after 17 matches.

Juve FC says

McKennie has been disappointing this term and it’s no surprise he’s been included on this list, which is another sign for Juve that he needs to go.

However, McKennie will want to leave on his terms and may not be interested in some of the struggling EPL teams looking to add him to their squad.

We can only hope that another top European team agrees to take a chance on the 24-year-old and have to settle for losing him on loan first before a club commits to buying him.
