Juventus outcast Zakaria set for a big second half of the season

Denis Zakaria hasn’t had the best 12 months since joining Juventus from Borussia Monchengladbach at the start of 2022.

The Swiss midfielder started well but fizzled out before the end of the 2021/2022 season, prompting Juve to send him on loan to Chelsea at the start of this season and he has been in London ever since.

He struggled to get into the Chelsea manager’s plans in the first half of the season, but he started his final game of 2022 and did well.

This should get him more starts and a report on Tuttojuve reveals that he is now aiming for more playing opportunities in West London.

The midfielder reckons he must do well if he wants to stay at Chelsea or play regularly for Juve again next season.

Juve FC says

Zakaria is a top-tier midfielder and it’s sad that he didn’t do well at Juve and saw little action in the first half of the season at Chelsea.

The Blues will keep him if he does well; That’s the dream scenario for us because it doesn’t seem to fit Max Allegri’s plans.

Having signed him for a cheap fee, we stand to make a big profit if Chelsea make the transfer permanent.
