Juventus on alert as Roma struggles to tie down Zaniolo

Nicolo Zaniolo is one of the players Juventus have been eyeing for a long time and the Azzurri star could really leave Rome for Turin.

AS Roma know they have a top-tier player on their hands and have been trying to land him on a new contract.

However, the attacker has not put pen to paper on a contract extension, giving Juve hope they can add him to their squad.

The Bianconeri are watching and a Football Italia report says the deal could be done as Roma delay reaching an agreement with the attacker.

His current contract expires in 2024 and they want him to sign a new long-term extension.

Both parties hope to reach an agreement in January, but could still meet in December.

As talks progress, the report reveals that Juve are hopeful they can cheer up and move for their man.

Juve FC says

Zaniolo is one of the best attackers in the league and Roma will not want to lose him.

However, in contract talks with a coveted player, a delay is dangerous and they can learn the hard way.

If we really want to catch him before he extends his deal, we need to contact his entourage now and steer them away from talks with Rome.
