Mallo Gusto began his football career at the AS Villefontaine academy. He trained for three years at that club and then joined the Bourgoin-Jallieu youth team.
However, after just one season, French giants Lyon tied him up. Gusto gradually developed in the Lyon academy and was promoted to the main team in 2021.
Malo got his breakthrough last year and cemented his place in Lyon’s starting eleven. The right back has also represented France in many tournaments at age group level. Overall, he is one of France’s most promising talents.
Juventus wants to sign Malo Gusto
According to a report from TuttoJuve, Serie A giants Juventus are keen to attract French youth international Malo Gusto from Lyon.
After dominating Serie A for a decade, Juventus have failed to secure the top three in their last two terms. Even this season, they didn’t get off to a good start. The bianconeri have only won five of their first eleven games so far.
They are currently in seventh position in the table. their condition in European competition is even bad. Juventus have lost three of their first four games and are on the verge of elimination.
They desperately need newcomers in multiple positions. including a new right side. Massimiliano Allegri’s team does not currently have a single natural right-back in its squad.
Therefore, they are looking for a lot of right-back options. And now Bad Taste has been added to that list. At 19 years old, Gusto is considered one of the most highly rated talents in French Ligue 1.
Although it is only his second season in the top flight, he has shown great maturity whenever he has played. As a fullback, he has a very offensive mind and is also a great athlete. Gusto’s technical skills are top notch and he has shown his playmaking abilities since his academy days.
If Juventus can sign him, he will be a great addition to their squad. But for this he will have to pay a high price to the French club Lyon.
Previously, B Barcelona and Manchester United inquired about the right-back during the summer transfer window. Although no deal materialized, it is an indication that the Bianconeri will also have competition from other teams.
