Juventus get a big boost in the quest to sign Milinkovic-Savic

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is likely to be in his final season as a Lazio player as more clubs show interest in adding him to their squad.

The midfielder has been one of the best assets at his position in the Italian top flight in recent seasons and Juventus want him to join their group.

With 18 months remaining on his current contract with the Biancocelesti, the midfielder has not agreed to extend his contract with Maurizio Sarri’s men.

Lazio could feel they want out and a report on Tuttojuve reveals that Sarri is now prepared to build his team without the Serb.

The coach knows that there is a real risk that he will not continue with them and he will have no problem fielding a team without Dusan Vlahovic’s teammate in this month’s selection.

Juve FC says

Milinkovic-Savic has been one of the best players at his position in the Italian top flight in recent seasons and he will do well in our books.

However, it will be difficult for Juve to convince Lazio to let him drop them for a small fee this month, meaning the bianconeri will have to wait until the summer to snap up the 27-year-old.
