Serie A giants Juventus have decided to stop all contract renewal talks for the time being.
The Bianconeri have had a very poor start to the season. They have only won three of their first nine matches. With thirteen points from these nine games, Juventus are currently in eighth position in the table.
On top of that, their performance in the Champions League has been terrible so far. Juventus lost their first couple of Premier European club games against Paris Saint-Germain and Benfica.
They then got their first win against Israeli club Maccabi Haifa at the Allianz Arena. But in the second leg, they suffered a humiliating 2-0 victory against Haifa in Israel. With this loss, for the first time in their history, they now have three defeats in the first four games of the UCL group stage.
Juventus stopped all contract renewal negotiations

According to a report from Calciomercato, Juventus have paused all contract renewals for the time being.
This includes players like Danilo who have already started renewal talks with the Juventus management.
The report further suggests that things will go to a normal place only when Juventus recover from their poor start.
Now Juventus have a lot of players who can become free agents next summer. So if they don’t tie them up with longer contracts before the next January transfer window, they may lose out to different clubs.
Apart from this, the Juventus management also knows that they need some new faces in the team. His current team seems very stagnant and Allegri finds it difficult to produce results with this team.
Therefore, the Juventus management will have to support their manager with some income from next January.
Another hit for Allegri’s team
According to Juventus’ press release, their summer signing Angel Di Maria will be out for the next three weeks due to a hamstring injury.
The Argentine striker was injured in the last game against Maccabi Haifa and was substituted after half an hour. The biggest obstacle for Allegri this season has been the multiple injuries to his key players.
