Juventus are facing calls to sack Max Allegri after his dismal start to the season, but it’s not an easy decision.
After working with two other managers, the Bianconeri brought him back as boss last season.
Having been successful in his first spell as manager, the club expects more of the same, but things don’t go according to plan.
They finished the last campaign without trophies, and that could be the case again in this one.
They have not won any of their last four competitive matches, with the latest knock being a 2-1 home loss at the hands of Benfica.
The loss was hard to take and some of the club’s fans want Allegri sacked.
However, a report from Football Italia says it will be too expensive, considering he now earns €9m per season at the Allianz Stadium.
Instead, the Bianconeri are considering replacing some of their backroom staff, starting with the physical trainers.
Juve FC says
Allegri signed an exceptional contract when he returned, and you can’t blame the club for that considering he was successful during his first spell.
However, not being able to beat Sampdoria and Salernitana in this campaign is terrible, and he has to resign or be sacked.
