Juventus choose the path of cautiousness towards Chiesa

Juventus have Federico Chiesa back after he was sidelined for nearly ten months due to an anterior cruciate ligament injury.

The attacker was one of the Bianconeri’s key players before the injury and was looking to build an excellent Euro 2020 campaign.

However, he has missed almost a season due to injury and the club is helping him return to a life of regular action.

He suffered a setback on his way back recently, causing him to miss his final mid-season friendly matches.

He is ready to start on the bench when they return to competitive action against Cremonese next week.

A report on Football Italia reveals that Juve have no desire to rush him back into action or load him with too much work too quickly.

The Bianconeri are intent on making sure that life as a regular starter at the club is gradually made easier for him rather than being rushed.

Juve FC says

Considering the number of months Chiesa has spent on the sidelines, the most sensible thing to do is to make sure he gets back into action gradually.

If we rush him, he could suffer a serious relapse that would keep him sidelined for many more months, a terrible situation to think about.
