Juventus have issued a statement revealing that they are confident they will be able to prove they have done nothing wrong in court after being accused of inflating player values.
The Bianconeri are under investigation in a capital gains case and prosecutors believe they have falsified their books, which could land them in trouble.
However, Juve have continued to maintain that they have done nothing wrong and the Bianconeri feel they can prove it in court.
Now they have issued a statement and insist that the reopening of the case will allow them to prove that they are innocent.
A statement from the club says via Football Italia:
“In accordance with the decision, the Federal Court of Appeals rejected the appeal filed by the Federal Public Ministry against the decision of the Federal National Court, which, in turn, acquitted Juventus and the other defendants for the non-existence of disciplinary offense in relation to the evaluation of the effects of certain transfers of player rights on the financial statements and the accounting of capital gains.
“The Company will articulate its defenses in the terms provided by the Code, trusting that it will be able to further demonstrate the correctness of its actions, the absence of new relevant elements for the trial regarding the decision of the Federal Court of Appeals, and the lack of the requirements of the proposed resource”.

We have maintained our innocence throughout this case and fans can be sure they will prove they have done nothing wrong.
We trust the club and we must focus on supporting the players on the pitch as they try to remain one of the best in the league in the second half of the season.
