Juric reckons his players deserved more from the Juventus gameJuvefc.com

Torino manager Ivan Juric believes his players deserved at least a draw after yesterday’s 1-0 loss to Juventus.

The Bianconeri beat up their neighbors to get back in shape and condemn them to even greater misery.

It’s a result that helps Juventus regain some of their arrogance and they will now be looking to build on it and win even more games.

For Juric, though, it means more pressure to win matches as he now faces being one of the next Serie A bosses to lose his job.

He spoke after the game and seemed impressed with the way his team played.

He then insisted that they did enough to at least earn a draw in the match.

He said through Football Italia:

“A draw would have been a fair result. It was a tough and tense game. In my opinion, Juve only created chances thanks to our own mistakes.

“Otherwise, we control it well. We conceded on a set piece, where they have players who are very good in the air and we don’t. My guys called, can’t complain about that.”

Juve FC says

This has been a difficult season for Juric, and he would like to take some of the blame off himself.

Judging by the scoreboard, Il Toro gave a good account of themselves, but after now they won’t have an easier Juventus to beat.

We also had to defeat them and we did. The players deserve credit, but we would have to work hard for our next matches.
