Jurgen Klopp has agreed with pundits that Ben Johnson was to blame for Liverpool’s winning goal against West Ham on Wednesday night.
The Reds won 1-0 with a header from Darwin Núñez in the first half, enough to take all three points.
Although Nunez’s header was excellent and worthy of winning any game, Johnson’s positioning, which allowed Konstantinos Tsimikas acres of space to place his shot, has been criticized.

Amazon Prime pundits were quick to point out the winger’s low awareness and Klopp admitted the same after the match ended.
“Of course the defender has to do better to stop the cross and people will say that,” the German said in his post-match interview.
“But for us we scored a wonderful goal and with a bit more luck Darwin could have scored a hat-trick.”
