Juventus are close to signing Tiago Djalo from Lille and will beat Inter Milan to sign the Portuguese star.
The defender was on the radar of both clubs and weeks ago Inter led the race to incorporate him into their squad. He seemed happy to move to Milan, but the Nerazzurri wanted to sign him as a free agent in the summer.
That was Juve’s plan initially, but after realizing they could miss out on his signature, the Bianconeri went ahead and will pay a fee to sign him now.
Juve are finalizing the details of the transfer and journalist Luca Cilli believes it is a big deal, especially since they have beaten Inter to his signature.
He said, quoted by Tuttojuve:
“This is an important blow for Juventus that will strengthen the defense with a player who in France showed that he has interesting numbers and who can undoubtedly contribute to Massimiliano Allegri’s defense. Juventus worked very well in the advance. “Director Cristiano Giuntoli anticipated Inter very well.”
Juve FC says
Djalo has been in the news for months for his outstanding performances and it seems that we have signed a really decent player.
However, he will have to prove that he is a good signing in the coming months.
