Journalist believes Reds won’t sell star winger

Dean Jones doesn’t think Liverpool are going to sell winger Mohamed Salah anytime soon because “they’ll cost him a move.”

Rumors have started to surface that Liverpool might be willing to sell Salah, but Jones told GiveMeSport he doesn’t think that will happen.

The conversation about the move is made even more confusing by the fact that the Egyptian only signed a new three-year, £350k-a-week contract at Anfield in July.

The rumor about Salah’s possible sale comes from Football Insider, but Jones can’t imagine a move even if the 30-year-old wanted to leave.

“Even if someone like Salah wanted to leave Liverpool, I think he would probably have to pay the price because I don’t see who would buy him at the moment.”

The forward line is probably the last thing Liverpool need, considering they just signed Cody Gakpo from PSV. Any Liverpool fan will tell you that midfield is much more of a concern, so it will be interesting to see what changes are made to the Reds’ squad in the summer.
