Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti’s current contract with the La Liga giants expires at the end of the season. It is still unclear whether Ancelotti will remain at Real Madrid beyond the campaign or not, amid reports also linking him to work for the Brazil national soccer team.
Carlo Ancelotti became Real Madrid manager for the second time in 2021, and the Spanish heavyweights have impressed hugely during the Italian’s second spell at the club.
Carlo Ancelotti has already won La Liga, Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, Spanish Super Cup and Copa del Rey titles with Real Madrid in his second spell at the club. Under Ancelotti’s tutelage, Real Madrid have also had a fantastic start to the 23/24 campaign.
Real Madrid sit at the top of the La Liga points table with 24 points in nine games. They have also won both matches they have played in the Champions League group stage so far this campaign.

While Real Madrid have had a good start to the season, there is still uncertainty over who will be the club’s coach next season.
Current Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti could leave Real Madrid at the end of the season and join the Brazilian football team, which is currently without a permanent coach.
Mundo Deportivo reported that Carlo Ancelotti would accept a contract renewal at Real Madrid if the club offered it to him. They also report that José Mourinho is one of the names heard in Real Madrid as a candidate to replace Carlo Ancelotti if he leaves the club.
José Mourinho currently manages AS Roma in Serie A, but the Portuguese coach and the Italian team are likely to part ways at the end of the season. Mourinho is also a former coach of Real Madrid, having coached the Spanish team between 2010 and 2013.
Mundo Deportivo also reports that Real Madrid also have their former coach Zinedine Zidane and current Bayer Leverkusen coach Xabi Alonso on the list of possible replacements for Ancelotti.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti and his team will resume their campaign after the October international break with a La Liga match against Sevilla.
