JoJo Diaz-William Zepeda lightweight clash brought forward to Oct. 29

SAN DIEGO, CA (September 8, 2022) – La Encrucijada, the 12-round lightweight main event bout with Joseph “JoJo” Diaz, Jr. (32-2-1) and undefeated rising star from Mexico, William “Camarón” Zepeda (26-0, 23 KOs) has been rescheduled for Saturday, October 29. Fight fans will now be able to enjoy the decisive fight a week early, as the event was previously announced for Saturday, November 5. .

A fight for their careers, the dangerous matchup will take place at Pechanga Arena San Diego and will be streamed live worldwide exclusively on DAZN.

“I am ready to put on a great performance in my comeback fight in front of everyone in San Diego who will be tuning in live on DAZN,” said JoJo Diaz.

“Now that it has been formally announced that my fight will be in San Diego, I am looking forward to fighting JoJo Diaz in front of all the fans in that great city,” said William Zepeda. “I have seen crowds there, and they are loud, so I expect no less on October 29.”
