Wantaway Atlético de Madrid star Joao Félix prefers to move to Manchester United instead of Newcastle United.
Jacque Talbot reports that Félix sees himself as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo and would be in favor of a move to Old Trafford.
Talbot relays: “Newcastle are among the clubs interested in Joao Félix, FootballTransfers understands, but the Atlético Madrid star prefers to sign for Manchester United.”

United’s chance of beating the Magpies and getting a deal for Felix is boosted by the fact that Newcastle aren’t particularly keen on breaking his salary structure, although they believe he could be snapped up at a reduced price.
Recently, the general director of Atlético de Madrid, Miguel Ángel Gil Marín, confirmed that the Spanish giants will consider offers for the Portuguese attacker.
Félix’s main motivation comes from the breakdown in communication with coach Diego Simeone.
However, Talbot stipulates that Paris Saint-Germain represents the most likely destination for the 23-year-old striker.
Beyond PSG, Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are also potential suitors for Felix.
The La Liga giants are receptive to a loan with an option to buy for around €100-140m in the summer, but it is unclear if they would accept staggered payments.
We will have to see if the Red Devils move for Felix. His display against Switzerland certainly made a strong case for consideration.
