Jesse Marsch names the player who will replace Pascal Struijk in starting line-up

Jesse Marsch has confirmed that Junior Firpo will star for Leeds in the absence of the injured Pascal Struijk tonight against Leicester City.

The 26-year-old will start his first Premier League game for Leeds this season after sitting out with an injury sustained during the pre-season tour.

“Junior will start and will be ready, waiting patiently”, said the white coach.

“I’m excited that he gets a chance to show that he’s ready.”

“I have heard criticism,” the Leeds boss said of a player Angus Kinnear called “world class”.

“But ever since I’ve been here, he’s just done his best to adapt and be the best player for me.

“His technical and passing ability is among the best on our team.

“Tactical awareness is sharp and if he can continue to add aggressiveness, he can become a true two-way player.” Marsch finished.
