Jesse Marsch hopes Victor Orta will not leave the club for Chelsea

Leeds boss Jesse Marsch admits he’s not surprised by Chelsea’s interest in Victor Orta but hopes the Spaniard stays at Elland Road.

Chelsea owner Todd Boehly is reportedly a big fan of Orta and has already inquired about his services.

Orta has been an influential figure at the Yorkshire club and some of his signings include the likes of Raphinha, Illan Meslier and Patrick Bamford.

“I am not surprised that they have linked him to Chelsea. I can unequivocally say that he is happy here and that we have an amazing relationship. Along with Andrea and Angus, we have worked well together in the transfer window,” said Marsch.

“It has set us up for success. I hope you stay. Things come up, people have opportunities. People have to think about what is best for them in their lives and find a way. The bonding here is at the highest level I have ever seen.” – finished the head of Leeds.
