Javi Gracia set to make a huge change in the lineup for Southampton clash

Speaking on the club’s YouTube page, Javi Gracia said it could use a three-man back-line for Leeds United’s crucial Premier League match against Southampton on Saturday at Elland Road.

“We want to play well (against Southampton),” explains Gracia. “We have to play the way the players feel comfortable. Somehow the players feel safe.

“We need to see the balance (of the team). So, we will decide; 4-4-2, 3-4-3 or 3-5-2”.

“First you have to analyze the team. Then try to find the balance,” Gracia adds, noting that stopping a flow of concessions is likely high on her to-do list.

“In my opinion, the team is conceding goals and that has to be improved. To improve that, it is not to be more defensive but to find a balance. There are different things to improve, but I know we don’t have much time. We have time to work on it and give the solution to the players.

“I love different teams playing in different ways. There is no bad game. I’m open to finding a way for my players to feel comfortable.” – said Grace.
