Jack Grealish has praised the performance of Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The latest edition of the FIFA World Cup kicked off in Qatar with the hosts facing Ecuador in a Group A match on November 20. The 32 teams qualified for the competition have already played at least two group stage matches.
The 2022 World Cup has already seen great individual performances. Although no player has scored a hat-trick, there have been plenty of doubles. The football world has also seen penalties saved by goalkeepers.

“I watch all the games, to be honest. We have screens everywhere in the hotel and it’s nice to have games all day,” Jack Grealish told talkSPORT. [via Metro].
“I was watching Messi [against Mexico], incredible. He just showed what he’s about in that second half, but so did Mbappe.”

Among the best individual performances are those of Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappé. Lionel Messi and Argentina suffered a surprise 2-1 loss to Saudi Arabia in their opening game. They headed into the next game against Mexico knowing that a loss would confirm their elimination.
Lionel Messi, however, stepped up to deliver when Argentina were under pressure. The Argentine superstar, with a finely struck long shot, gave his team the lead against Mexico. He also assisted Enzo Fernández, who scored his second goal as they defeated Mexico 2-0.

Kylian Mbappe has also been impressive for defending FIFA World Cup champions France. France have already secured their place in the round of 16, with two wins from two games.
Kylian Mbappé scored for France in both games. The Paris Saint-Germain superstar scored once as they defeated Australia 4-1 in their opening game of the 2022 World Cup.
Kylian Mbappe also scored a brace when France faced Denmark in their second group game. France overcame Denmark with a 2-1 win thanks to goals from Kylian Mbappe.
