“It will be complicated” Allegri knows Benfica will be a tough nut to crackJuvefc.com

Max Allegri expects a tough game when his team takes on Benfica in the Champions League tonight.

The Bianconeri lost their first game of the competition’s group stage against PSG last week and must now beat Benfica to start the season.

Benfica are in better shape as they chase a league title in Portugal and pick up a point in the Champions League.

They won their opening game of the competition against Maccabi Haifa and will be looking to do it two in a row.

But Juve know they have to win this game and they haven’t won any of their last three games in all competitions.

Allegri spoke about the game and admitted that Portuguese clubs will always give opponents problems.

He said, quoted by Il Bianconero:

“It will take a good performance and the result with a good performance. Playing against the Portuguese is difficult, they are ushers. It will be complicated, we will have to be good, as a team, with compactness”.

Juve FC says

Benfica will not be under pressure to win, and that gives them an advantage going into the game.

We need to beat them today, and we need to speak up on the pitch.

If we have a good game plan, it should bring home the points.
