Investigators reveal what Dybala told them about Juventus deferred salaries

Investigators handling the Juventus account falsification case have spoken to some of their current and former players and revealed the details.

The Bianconeri announced that the players had lost part of their salaries during the start of the covid-19 and recorded it in their accounts.

However, it turns out that the players did not give as much money as they claimed, and the club ultimately paid them out of budget.

This certainly goes against standard practice and is also an obvious case of the club lying to the public.

A Football Italia report has now revealed some details about the conversation between Paulo Dybala and the investigators.

The Argentine reportedly told them:

“I clearly remember that when we had signed the agreement [about the salary cut]We had already reached an agreement with the club. In one, we quit [to salaries], in the other we receive payments for three months. Basically, we were earning double in a few months of the following season.

“Everyone thought that they would not pay us for four months; no one knew that we would still have received money for three months.”

Juve FC says

Researchers had to speak to our players to get more details and build their case, believing they may not have a united front.

That can be a difficult position to put anyone in and some might say Juve didn’t expect to hear from them.

It is not clear how these testimonies will affect the club in this investigation, but Dybala is no longer one of our players and owes no loyalty to us.
