Inter Milan in talks to beat Juventus to a defender Koffi Djidji

Juventus have been monitoring Torino’s Koffi Djidji for some time now, but they might miss out on adding him to their squad.

The French-born defender is one of Il Toro’s key men and Juve have been following him.

However, it has now been revealed that they are not the only Serie A club looking to add him to their squad.

A Football Italia report reveals that the defender is on Inter Milan’s radar and that the Nerazzurri are already in talks to add him to their squad.

This means they could beat Juve to their signing and pay the bianconeri to sign Gleison Bremer before them.

Juve FC says

We have good defenders in our team now, but we need depth at that position and a replacement for Leonardo Bonucci must be found soon.

The defender could retire at any time. But at 29, Djidji is probably too old to replace the Azzurri star.

If it is one of our main objectives, we will beat Inter Milan to incorporate it into our squad.

It is also likely that he would prefer to join us, considering that he will almost certainly win trophies if he moves to the Allianz Stadium.
