(Images) Fresh snaps show stunning progress of Anfield Road expansion

Anfield is already one of the best stadiums in world football, but the famous venue will soon look even better once the Anfield Road End of the Ground expansion is complete.

Capacity will soon increase to over 60,000 with work to be completed in time for the start of the 2023/24 campaign.

Snapshots shared on Twitter by @CraigEvans_LFC show the roof of the new stand rising above the existing one, giving fans an idea of how impressive it will look once it’s completed.

3D images of what the floor will look like once completed have already been released and we can’t wait to see it in person and hear how the noise levels rise inside L4.
