Ian Wright says Man United should offer Tottenham £60m+ Anthony Martial for Harry Kane – Man United News And Transfer News

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has urged Manchester United to step up their efforts to sign Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.

That United desperately need a reliable goalscorer.

Kane is reportedly on United’s wish list as the Englishman nears the final year of his contract with the north London club.

The Peoples’ Person conveyed that Kane is open to a move from Old Trafford.

Another report from The Athletic detailed that the 29-year-old prioritizes signing a new contract and extending his stay at Tottenham.

According to Wright, United closing in on Kane in the summer is a “no-brainer”.

Speaking at Wrighty’s House, the former Arsenal goalscorer said: “If Man United have any serious idea about what we should do next, it’s a number 9. It seems like a no-brainer that Harry Kane is the person [they should sign].

“He [Kane] takes them [United] somewhere else.”

Wright added that the difference between Arsenal and United in the 3-2 loss to the Emirates was that the Gunners could rely on the services of a natural target: Eddie Nketiah.

“One of the main differences was Eddie Nketiah, a number 9. That’s what Man United didn’t have because they had (Wout) Weghorst up there, but he wasn’t a threat. If we go, to be honest, he was not a threat.

Wrighty expresses his opinion that Kane could do a stellar job at United for three years.

He could be the final piece in the Ten Hag piece and make United a real title contender.

On Kane’s ties to Bayern Munich, Wright dismissed this as interest from the player’s camp.
