Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof has reaffirmed his commitment to both his manager and his teammates.
The Sweden international, through the club’s media, insisted that he was available when needed, and that he would come in and give his best when called upon.
Lindelof partnered Lisandro Martinez at the heart of United’s defense on Sunday as the Reds cruised to a 2-1 victory against Everton at Goodison Park.
He had a good performance, barely putting a foot wrong and helping his team to get the three points.
The 28-year-old said: “I am always ready. Whenever the coach and the team need me, I’m always there and of course I know what I can do on the pitch.”
“I just want what’s best for the team and like I said, I’m always there and always ready when the team needs me to come in and perform.”
Lindelof recently achieved a significant milestone in his career at Old Trafford: playing 200 games for the 20-time English champions.
On this remarkable achievement, the player expressed his pride, describing it as a special feeling.
He commented that it was just the beginning as he would like to rack up many more appearances in a United shirt.
Lindelof also praised the team spirit under Ten Hag.
About this he said: “Everyone is getting along and as I said, it is very important to have that in the team.”
United fans are hoping that the player, nicknamed ‘Iceman’ within the fan base, can carry on his wonderful performance against Everton in the coming games and contribute to the team’s success.
