In the penultimate minute of first-half stoppage time, Hyderabad FC leveled the score by converting the penalty kick assigned to them after Lalengmawia Ralte was penalized for bringing down Bartholomew Ogbeche inside the penalty area.

By misplacing the goalkeeper from the penalty spot, Joao Victor was able to level the score. The Chinese made a mistake in midfield, allowing their opponent to pass the ball to Mohammed Yasir five minutes into the second half.

This played an important role in the outcome of the match. The player passed the ball to full-back Halicharan Narzary, 24, and then made a precise pass to him. Halicharan Narzary easily slid the ball past the goalkeeper.

Shortly after (less than five minutes later), Bipin tried to prevent the Islanders from leveling the score, but Laxmikant Kattimani made an incredible save. When the clock struck seven minutes past the hour, everything had returned to its usual state.

Ahmed Jahouh, who was replacing the original player, provided Greg Stewart with a spectacular pass. The Scottish attacker had no trouble scoring his first goal for the Islanders, easily sending the ball to Kattimani to complete the scoring.

Just under ten minutes after that, the Nizams took the lead for the first time since they had lost it. After a corner kick by substitute Borja Herrera, Odei Onaindia headed in a dive to deflect the ball into the goal, where Víctor hoped to score with a header from close range.

In the 85th minute, equal conditions were restored once again. Bipin changed the trajectory of the ball so that it was headed in the direction of Stewart. After the striker had passed the ball to the substitute, Alberto Noguera, who was quite close to the goal, put the ball in with a side shot. Both teams made one last push for victory in the final seconds of the match, but in the end, they had to settle for one point each.

Hyderabad’s next match will be against NorthEast United on Thursday 13 October. On Saturday, October 15, the Islanders will play Odisha FC in Mumbai after taking a short trip there earlier in the week.
