Delhi-based Hyderabad FC is a football team that debuted in the Indian Super League in October 2014. The team’s previous owners were Delhi-based DEN networks. However, they currently only own a small part of the company, with GMS Inc. owning the majority.
All operations of GMS Inc. are located in the United States. Miguel Angel Portugal is the coach of the team, and they are known by the nickname “the lions”. The group also has a partnership with Feyenoord, a Dutch team.
However, they were only there for a year. They changed the team manager in 2015, which was actually quite an exciting decision. Although they hired the illustrious Robert Carlos to lead the team, it was no use. They have yet to take home any Indian Super League trophies.
Suddenly, they also ended their association with Feyenoord. But the 2023 ISL championship could also go to this team. The game of soccer is one where anything can happen.
