Hugely unpredictable last days of transfer window for Chelsea – Talk Chelsea

Chelsea have been very busy in this transfer window, continuing a similar spending pattern to the summer. Will it stop there though? I would be absolutely surprised if it does.

We’ve all been reading about the search for a new midfielder and right-back to continue the business already done this window by Chelsea. But the days are passing now, and tomorrow sees only five full days left of the window. Time is running out and what Chelsea will do in recent days has become wildly unpredictable.

We have seen several contrasting reports about the persecution of Enzo Fernández and whether it could be carried out. Then there is the offer that was made last week by Moisés Caicedo and whether it will be reviewed.

There is a search for Lyon’s right-back Malo Gusto, and there is also talk of the possibility of lending a new midfielder in recent days instead of spending a lot of money on an Enzo or a Caicedo, for example.

Chelsea certainly need to sign a new midfielder in my opinion, and it should always have been their top priority this month. But it has yet to be addressed, while other areas in the field have been.

I think we should expect one or two big surprises during these later stages of the window, and I think we should prepare for a bumpy ride of more contrasting reporting, and the whole transfer of ‘will we, won’t we?’ sagas.

They have a clear plan to try to sign two more players, but it becomes more difficult to do so later in the window, and something more urgent may now be seen for the weekend and over the weekend, especially without games. for Chelsea. at least.
