Here in the United States, FOX Sports currently owns the English-language broadcast rights for the 2022 World Cup. This means that all 64 games of the competition will air on local FOX stations or FS1, the company’s main sports channel. . All tournament matches will be available in 4K.

For those viewers who have 8K televisions here in the United States, unfortunately this format will not be an option for these World Cup games. Instead, the broadcast quality will be transmitted in 4K quality.

The World Cup is scheduled to start on November 20, when hosts Qatar take on Ecuador. The USMNT begins their tournament with a tough matchup against Wales the following day. Along with Wales, the USMNT will also play England and Iran in the group stage of the tournament.
