The two men hail from the suburbs of Livorno, and some claim the two share a friendship off the pitch.
For this reason, every time Banti whistled in favor of Allegri’s Juve, a sector of the observers quickly jumped on the bandwagon of the conspiracy.
However, it was Banti himself who was sitting in the VAR room when the whole debacle unfolded last weekend, despite the fact that his services were not requested at that particular moment.
Also, Candreva’s goal was allowed even though she apparently delivered the ball towards the goal.

Unfortunately, a large part of the Italian media enjoy creating controversy when it comes to Juventus, and not by innocent means.
But as last Sunday’s action showed, Banti’s endorsement of Allegri and Juventus is nothing more than a myth created by delusional individuals.
