How much will Juventus lose from Jeep if they don’t qualify for the Champions League?

Juventus has lost 15 points after being sanctioned by the FIGC for the use of capital gains.

The bianconeri are still one of the best clubs in Serie A, but their finances in recent terms are being investigated and the first punishment imposed on the black and white is the deduction of 15 points.

Juve intend to appeal, but for now it means they may not play in the Champions League next season, which could be costly.

A report on Tuttojuve reveals that Juve will lose €2m from their €45m-per-season deal with Jeep if they fail to make the top four.

A further loss of 2 million euros will be added if the bianconeri end up outside the Europa League places.

Juve FC says

We plan to appeal this decision and hope it will be overturned because this punishment is severe. But we probably have to plan for life without it reversing, which means preparing for the worst case scenario.

Other sponsors and business partners may also have clauses in their dealings with us that will cost money if we don’t make the Champions League places.

There are many more points to be won and our men could take this setback as a challenge to conquer, which could motivate the group to win more games and earn a place in the UCL.
