Hirving Lozano Manchester United transfer offer made

Manchester United have apparently been offered the opportunity to seal the transfer of Napoli winger Hirving Lozano, although they never got further along than that, according to Fabrizio Romano in his latest exclusive column for CaughtOffside.

There has recently been talk of the Red Devils as a possible transfer destination for Lozano, with the Mexican international’s former agent discussing the player’s future and suggesting he possibly end up at Old Trafford.

However, it is unclear how accurate this really is, with Romano offering his exclusive insight and admitting that Man Utd was offered Lozano without getting a chance to sign him further.

Still, it seems that if United or any other club wanted to sign the 27-year-old, it would be quite cheap, with a starting price of €25m maximum.

“They told me that Hirving Lozano was offered to Manchester United, nothing more. They never made any offer for Napoli,” Romano said.

“The situation is very calm, now he is happy at Napoli; I think its price could be around 20-25 million euros.”

United could do with getting stronger in attack at the moment as Jadon Sancho is yet to live up to the hype, but it remains to be seen whether Lozano really is the right caliber player for this team.

The former PSV attacker is a good player, but he hasn’t exactly set the world on fire at Napoli and MUFC may feel there are better options out there.
