Tottenham Hotspur News: After finishing fourth in the Premier League table last season, Antonio Conte has the full support of his club’s hierarchy. Tottenham Hotspur have spent almost £172m on recruiting new players and earned £28.9m from player sales. That means they have a net spend of £143.1 million.
With the new players, the Spurs have to pay big salaries to the players preferred by the Italian coach. The new wage bill of the English club has been revealed, which also has the best striker in England at the moment.
After Conte arrived midway through the season last year, Spurs have just made two additions in the January transfer window. After the arrival of the new coach, the London club’s squad turned around.
Last season there was too much chaos within the squad, following Harry Kane’s confession of leaving the club for Manchester City. Club president Daniel Levy denied all offers from Man City.

Conte’s arrival helped Kane stay in north London and convinced Lloris to sign a long contract. According to The Sun, Kane earns £200,000 a week and is the top earner in Tottenham’s wage bill.
Last season’s Premier League Golden Boot winner Son Heung-min is second on the list and only slightly behind Kane at £192,000 in one week.
Third on the list is newcomer Ivan Perisic with a weekly salary of £178,269. The Croatian winger joined the English Premier League on a free transfer.
Fourth is Cristian Romero, who earns £165,000 a week. He joined the club last season on loan. Spurs have signed him for £42m this summer from Atalanta.
Then come Richarlison and Clement Lenglet respectively. Richarlison earns £133,779 a week. The Brazilian has just joined Spurs from Everton for a fee of £60m. Lenglet earns £121,154 a week and is on loan from Barca.
The other remaining top 10 earners are Dejan Kulusevski on £110,000 a week, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg on £101,923 a week, Lloris on £100,000 a week and winger on loan Bryan Gil on £83,000 a week salary. Lloris’ new contract in January 2022 has recently seen him earn £100,000 a week.

Conte’s new Spurs are in great form as they are having an unbeaten run in the Premier League. But he faced a 2-0 loss to Sporting CP in the Champions League match.
In the post-match interview, Conte said: “We played against a team that is used to playing in this competition.” He also added: “It is important…playing in this competition means that you are able to handle all these situations. We will continue working, to have a good reflection on the game, take the positive situations and work on the negative situations”.
In the next Premier League match, Tottenham will face Leicester City tomorrow.
