Harvey Elliott’s Dad celebrates the 19-year-old’s winning penalty

Harvey Elliott was a second-half replacement on what turned out to be a successful night as Liverpool began their Carabao Cup defence, with the 19-year-old scoring the winning penalty.

Thanks to a rather famous viewer, Ian Rush, the moment our number 19 scored was captured, as well as his father’s reaction to seeing his son win the game.

Although the hero of the night was undoubtedly Caoimhin Kelleher with his three saves, it was the Fulham youth’s strike that booked us a place in the next round.

It’s similar to the scenes we saw when the young midfielder scored his first goal at Anfield and it’s great to see the pride a father takes in his extremely talented son.
