Grimaldo, Guerreiro and Bernat on club’s shortlistJuvefc.com

By all accounts, Alex Sandro is currently in his final campaign at Juventus as the management is unwilling to extend his collaboration with the fullback.

The Brazilian arrived at the club in 2015, but his performance has been on the decline in recent years.

Therefore, reinforcing the left-back position is essential for the Bianconeri. But who are the most likely candidates for the job?

According to Tuttosport via JuventusNews24, the Italians are considering signing Alex Grimaldo from Benfica or Raphael Guerreiro from Borussia Dortmund.

Like Sandro, these two players also have expiring contracts. So they’ll be available for free once their deals expire at the end of the season, or perhaps at a reduced price in January.

On the other hand, ilBianconero suggests a different option. The report claims that Juventus are tracking Juan Bernat from PSG.

The Spaniard joined the French champions in 2018 and has a contract that runs until 2025.

Juve FC says

If Juventus can sign Grimaldo or Guerreiro for free in June or for a relatively low fee this winter, then either would probably make a better buy than spending money on Bernat, who hasn’t started in recent years.

Arguably Grimaldo remains the best solution on the table.
